International Polar Bear Day

Did you know today was international Polar Bear day? No neither did I until I got an email reminding me I should send my friends an e-card to celebrate!! I so gonna hit everyone with an e-card next year….if I remember, which I won’t cause I am rubbish!) but anyway..

Think he's having a day like me!!
Think he’s having a day like me!!

It’s such a random day, but I didn’t want to let it pass without marking it in some way.

Did you know that Polar Bears are listed as a ‘vulnerable’ species thanks mainly to global warming. Our selfish actions are making the lives of millions of Polar bears tricky?

I don’t know about you but I hate to think that my selfishness, or laziness could be responsible for wiping out an entire population and so please do your bit, recycle, switch off the tap, walk somewhere instead of taking the car…. It doesn’t have to be something big.

I strongly believe that we were put on this earth to look after each other, especially those more vulnerable than ourselves. Please do you bit!

I can't help it, I know I would get my head ripped off but I'd love to cuddle one!

  1. We do all those things. My husband car pools to work and I will walk to the grocery store more often than not. I wish I could take the dogs with me on those walks but I don’t want to leave them tied outside while I go inside. I used to have a walking buddy but her schedule changed when she got a new job and now we have a difficult time coordinating.

Looking forward to hearing from you....?!
